Beekeeper creates upcycled bags & backpacks that change the world, do not harm the environment, nourish and support the people and animals on our planet, seek solutions to our environmental crisis, and use business as an instrument to inspire people to consume less, do more, and BEE MORE. They also support BabyTree Projects in its fight for quality education for all children.
Koky Saly, its founder, has dedicated the last 7 years of his life to building schools in impoverished rural areas around Cambodia. All their products are also ethically made in Cambodia.
"For Koky, rebuilding his homeland is as much about creating a sustainable planet as it is about quality education. Koky’s sister and best friend Sophia Saly passed away from cancer in 2012. They shared the dream of creating a social enterprise to fund the BabyTree schools and protect the world’s environment. In her will Sophia left Koky her car and requested that he used the proceeds to create a business that would inspire change - that’s how BeeKeeper was born."
